"Getting "Cabin Fever" Make your plans now to join us for our "Spring Fling". 5 weekends just $300.00, Call or email for details."

    Meet Your Hosts

    Open March 1 - November 30

Located in the middle of our Country's birthplace, travel just minutes in any direction and explore a part of history. Just minutes off of I-495 you'll find the Boston/Cape Cod KOA.

    New - Kamping Lodges!

Enjoy camping without "roughing it" in our new Kamping Lodges. Most lodges feature a private queen bedroom, a bunk bed room, refrigerator, microwave and private bath.

The quiet countryside setting of the Boston/Cape Cod KOA just 15 miles west of Plymouth, makes a great hub for exploring history-rich southeastern Massachusetts. It's just a short commute to the train into Boston. Once there you can hop on and off the Old Town Trolley for a fantastic sightseeing tour of all that Boston has to offer.

Visit nearby Plymouth and see the "Rock" or learn about 17th century pilgrim life at the living history Plimoth Plantation. If whale watching or a cruise to Martha’s Vineyard is more your style, ask the great KOA team at the front desk and they’ll be glad to help you find FUN! Don’t forget to leave time for a dip in our swimming pool, catch the outdoor movie, or a smore’s feast at your fire ring.

Terry and Sharon Dick of the Boston / Cape Cod KOA are campers from way back. When their children were young, the family spent most of their family vacations tent camping.

“We could always humor the boys with ‘sticks and stones’ and we even made games about gathering them for the night’s fire. But we couldn’t snooker our daughter into that one. The boys never could figure out why she wasn’t into that game,” laughs Terry.

Once they left their ‘day jobs,’ they became hooked on the RV lifestyle. From there, they found that the mission and atmosphere of KOA Kampgrounds matched their own priorities of family and customer service.

Before becoming involved in KOA’s management program, Terry spent 30 years managing and operating branch businesses and ultimately owning a business in the Houston, Texas area. Sharon worked as an Executive Assistant for three major companies during the same time. Before coming to the Boston / Cape Cod KOA, they spent several years managing the Albuquerque Central KOA.

Now they each bring their own specialized skills to the management of the Boston / Cape Cod KOA. Terry is the kampground’s General Manager and Sharon focuses on the bookkeeping.

Their personal emphasis is on customer service. They’ve found that Terry’s ability to defuse potential problem situations is a rare and valuable ability. “No matter what the issue is, Terry ends up with satisfied guests,” says Sharon.

Terry says, “We recognize that we have both internal and external customers. We want to make sure our campers have a fun experience, and are satisfied that they’ve been given service with a smile. Along with that, we want our ‘internal customers’ to be working in a pleasant atmosphere. We try to be sure the employees have the tools they need to do their jobs and want them to truly have fun.”

Sharon and Terry enjoy getting to know their new area and meeting all the guests who travel through and stay with them. Together they have four grown children and four grandchildren. They enjoy golfing, traveling, cooking and Sunday afternoons full of NFL and NASCAR.
